Saan Pow Punta? is 2016 Philippine Blogger Awards’ Best Travel & Leisure Blog

 

Saan Pow Punta? has been named as the Best Travel & Leisure Blog by Philippine Bloggers Awards last November 21, 2016. The Philippine Bloggers Awards, organized by Lagawan.org, aims to recognize Filipino bloggers that contributes to bringing positive change.

Blogs were initially registered through nominations. I was really surprised and happy when I received an e-mail detailing about the nomination. From hundred registered blogs, 35 were chosen as finalists. A technical evaluator evaluated these finalists according to the pre-announced criteria. The criteria for selection are rating & votes (25 pts), uniqueness of content (25 pts), design and site navigation (25 pts), site compatability (10 pts), site rank (15 pts) and an article for “change” (50 pts).  The “article for change” is a blog entry that describes how the blog can contribute to the welfare of the country, according to its niche. For the Travel & Leisure Category, Saan Pow Punta? was declared as the champion, followed by Schadow1 Expeditions, Angelo the Explorer and The Little Lai: Beyond Limits, accordingly.

Saan Pow Punta?” is a blog / journal about the author’s travel & outdoor adventures around the Philippines, and sometimes abroad. Destinations are mostly about natural and outdoor-themed locations. The Philippines, being an archipelago of composed of relatively small islands, offers diverse sets of adventures. You can pick whichever suits your taste or take the chance to experience all of it. This blog mostly helps in the promotion of under-appreciated ecotourism potentials of many provinces. Our goal is to encourage readers to see these places for themselves and to know how wonderful the experience is.

  1. Sir,good day. Bawal na po ba ang walk in sa dfa lucena.. kailangan po ba kapag nagpunta dun ay nkapag online ka na ng appointment mo.. di po ba pwede direct na agahan na lng

    • Hi Marcela, you need to have an online appointment first. Walk-ins are only allowed for senior citizens, children, pregnant women and PWDs.
